We are actively pursuing numerous projects and introducing new initiatives whenever possible. There is concern that some homeowners may not be reviewing the newsletter or email communications. If we possess your email address, it indicates your consent to receive notifications electronically. We are implementing a Street Lighting Program, as outlined in the July edition of the Leader. If you wish to be involved in this initiative and have an existing pedestal light installed on your lawn, please contact us.
The FPL Transformer Painting Project has received full funding from Commissioner Kicia Daniel, representing Tamarac’s District 4. Commissioner Daniel will also host the Senior Expo at the Clubhouse on August 29, 2026; a flyer can be found in this issue. Additionally, she organizes line dancing sessions every Thursday at the civic center on Commercial Blvd, offering participants an engaging exercise opportunity.
The Clubhouse floor will be resurfaced in the near future as the years of cleaning and use have made it too slippery to continue to ignore.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website, www.faircrest14hoa.org, where our documents are available for your review. Please note that the domain is similar to the previous site; you may need to clear your browser cache in order to access the new website.
The Board is currently reviewing the implementation of Electronic Voting and updating the Governing Documents. In order to participate in Electronic Voting, your consent to receive notifications via email is required. This process enables you to cast your vote from any location. With rising postage costs, we can now send notices and ballots electronically for greater efficiency.
We have several important meetings scheduled in the coming months. The Homeowners Meeting will take place on October 12, 2026, followed by the Budget Meeting on November 9, 2026. Meet the Candidates and Christmas Party is scheduled for December 14, 2026. Please note that homeowners meetings are held on the second Monday of each month. The Annual Meeting and Election will be held on Monday, January 11, 2027.
